Memberships are now Valid for 365 days from the date of purchase and are no longer based upon the Calendar year.
Please note that an Adult Membership is Required to purchase a Spouse or Junior Membership. A Range Access FOB will only be permitted to those who hold the Adult Membership with the RFGL, however Spouse and Juniors still receive an ID card. An Adult Membership is also required to purchase a guest pass for the range. Remember, you are only allowed to bring 1 guest at a time to the range and they are 100% your responsibility.
The new access FOB is your Membership card. Your membership card will act as “photo ID” on the range. The card will not be replaced year after year, but is intended to be your permanent range access credential.
Starting January 1st 2025, all existing members will be able to renew their membership online, and their access credential will be automatically updated with a new expiry date. Members renewing their expired or about to expire membership(s) will be grandfathered in at the membership cost of $135. All new Adult memberships are $150.
All new members to the RFGL after Jan. 1st 2023 (individuals who did not hold a 2022 membership) will need to be approved by the Board of Directors and may have to attend an onsite range orientation to obtain their access credentials and membership. You will receive an email from the range explaining a couple dates and times for Range Orientation in order to receive your credentials. This is in order to ensure all members are safe on the range floor and are aware of all safety rules and range procedures.
The RFGL strives to continue providing a safe and fun environment for all its members to enjoy. Our goal is to continue to be one of the best and safest ranges in Canada. This requires our entire memberships full cooperation and support.
The RFGL reserves the right to suspend and or terminate membership of any member(s) who are in violation of any rules; being abusive to other members or directors; causing damage to RFGL property; creating an unsafe environment for themselves and or others.
